Throughout my childhood-adolescence years my mother was suffering with depression. Later on, I found out it was all related to the sexual abuse that she experienced when she was a child.
As you can imagine, those were very painful years for me, until I started my own therapeutic process and decided to become a therapist to use my own personal experience to empower other young women who are ready to take control of their lives, and find healing. I’ve also become a sexual abuse prevention advocate and treatment expert.
During my young adult years, I was able to rebuild my life, and I have been on a journey of female empowerment since then. Having experienced trauma as a child made me grow as an empathic therapist who can now relate to my client's struggles. As a therapist who was able to heal, I can show you the way!
Along with my License in Marriage and Family Therapy I also hold a Clinical Psychologist degree from my home country, Venezuela. I have extensive experience helping young women who are struggling with the effects of sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, or that are lost in a difficult life transition, both as a therapist and Clinical Supervisor. I believe in the power of therapy and how it can change our lives forever!
